Resolved Office Visits in Schools

Does anyone know if a place of service 03/School is valid for E/M office visit codes? I think not, but I need to find some guidelines on this. Can anyone help me?

It depends if you have a NP doing the visits. Our local public school has one and she does physicals.

This is a psychiatrist doing therapy and medication management. They are not affiliated with the already established school-based services provided by the district.

This doesn't really help me. I work for a government payer. A psychiatrist wants to bill CPT codes 99212-99215 at a school (pos 03) for a group practice for medication therapy management. This is outside of the government-run school-based service codes.
