At this point; not much has been released about the President-elects specific plans with regard to healthcare reform. While he has stated the ACA will be repealed and replaced; information has not yet been released regarding the proposed replacement; etc. As for Medicare; again; no detailed plans have been released regarding proposed changes.
Personally; I do not foresee any immediate changes that would affect the coding job market. If anything; we may see a shift (as we already have) to an increase in risk adjustment plans and an increase in the need of skilled auditors. However; I welcome the thoughts of others as well.
