Resolved Internship for Experienced Coders

Would an internship be considered for an experienced coder looking to gain experience in other specialities? I have earned my CCS, CCS-P credentials and I am now enrolled in the CPMA blitz. My question is could an internship help me gain auditing experience and become more knowledgeable in areas outside my normal day to day? If so would I need to pass the CPMA exam beforehand?

Possibly.
The hard part is finding one.
I don't know if they would prefer you be credentialed in that specialty or not that would vary on a case by case basis I would imagine.
