Insurance Applied a Copay Instead of Deductible for Echocardiogram?

I had a patient come in for an echocardiogram done in a primary care office setting, when verified their insurance the CSR said it will go towards the deductible. CPT code 99306- TC POS- 11, was sent to insurance. Claim was paid but patients responsibility was a $20 copay instead. This is the first time this has happened. Do I need to call the insurance company back to get them to reprocess the claim, or was the CSR that I spoke with just gave me incorrect information?

If you received payment from the insurance, just collect the copay.
