Resolved Hospital rounding notes

Hello everyone, I work for a group of cardiac and vascular surgeons, and I am looking for some direction on which cpt codes would be used to code hospital rounding visit. I was thinking these would be considered subsequent visits but I am not sure. Our MDs also want to bill for hospital progress notes, is that billable?

Subsequent Hospital Inpatient or Observation Care (99231,99232, 99233) Subsequent hospital inpatient or observation care services should be reported with codes 99231, 99232, 99233 as appropriate.

Payment is for all the care provided by the physician or QHP on the days other than the initial or discharge date.
