Resolved Complication tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

Pt status post tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy Pt is bleeding from site. When I look up tonsils and adenoids it states they are lymphatic system And not respiratory ? Is that correct As it will change my code from j95830 to j95831?

yes this is accurate, the tonsils and adenoids are a part of the lymphatic system because they help protect/mitigate against infection just like the rest of the lymph system.
