0705T: remote treatment of amblyopia using an eye tracking device; surveillance center technical support including transmission with analysis, with minimum of 18 training hours.

Please let me know if the code 0705T can be used by DME providers, or can we use another code for DME? I would also like to know if there is an RPM and supply code we can use.

Report 0705T for surveillance center technical support with data transmission and analysis, with a minimum of 18 training hours, each 30 days, and 0706T for the professional’s interpretation and report, per calendar month.

Codes 0687T and 0688T describe treatment performed via a remote online digital program for patients diagnosed with amblyopia. Codes 0704T-0706T describe remote amblyopia treatment using a dedicated device that interfaces with a remote surveillance center. Prior to 2022, there were no CPT codes that described these services.

Code 0687T describes the initial session of an online amblyopia treatment program that the patient performs in the office or at home. At this session, the patient and/or family is trained on the set-up and use of the management portal. This code describes the set-up of an amblyopia treatment performed via a remote vision-training program.
