I am encountering PASUP provider credential in medical chart. Can anyone help me whether it is valid credential?

I have not heard of it but this credential but there are many out there.

I did Google & do some research too but nothing definitive came up sorry.

I guess you will need to query this one.

There was a Patient Access Supervisor but no UP.

During training, PA students are designated PA-S. The use of "PA-C" is limited to certified PAs who comply with the regulations of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and who have passed PANCE.

Credentials for doctors:​

• M.D.: Doctor of medicine
• D.O.: Doctor of osteopathic medicine; equivalent to an M.D.

Nurses​

I have ran into this credential several times this year myself on a specific EMR system, which I could myself not figure out what the creds meant either; however, if you use the NPI registry to look up the provider, it will provide you more information on the person's credentials. The providers I ran into with that credential actually had credentials that are approved providers for risk adjustment.
