Hi Alicia I have took the cpc exam and the E/M is different than what the Blitz go over. The main thing is, we don't have the 2 out of 3 items to help pick the more accurate code and it was harder to understand how to pick the correct code for the exam. Any suggestions

E/M is so much easier then it has ever been now. Two main things to remember, Time (which is easy and must be documented) or MDM. Ask yourself these questions:
1. Is this a new dx
2. Is this an existing dx which is stable
3. Is this an existing dx with complications or exacerbation.
Each of those questions change the MDM.
