Texas makes abortion via telehealth a crime​

Physicians are required to examine patients in person before providing abortion medication and bans the delivery of such medications by mail.

The new law in the state bans the provision of abortion medication via courier, delivery or mail service – with potential consequences of jail time or a hefty fine.

Many say this may prevent patients from getting the healthcare they need as many individuals do not realize they're pregnant until after 6 weeks gestation.
