Medicare guidelines change for 2020 on the cardiac remote check. Dies anyone know what code to bill for the Medicare Replacement plans. Trying to bill 93298 and the payer is rejecting it.
 
Which payer? Did you check their specific guidelines? See what CMS says as well, because if it is a covered Medicare benefit then the advantage/replacement plans need to cover it too. They may use a different diagnosis or criteria requirement but it should still be what CMS says as a NCD.
 
Yes the provider is Avmed I called them they could not help. We may need to look at our billing provider to see if the have updated the coding for their system. The G code may be for billing straight Medicare. Thank you very much everyone!!!
